xTouch driver problem

Hello ,

We have a problem with eGalaxTouch device (driver xtouch.sys Windows 8).

Sometimes after reboot or when the device is inserted to USB port, the touch screen does not work .We checked it with several devices on various computers .

On Unix system this driver works properly.

The driver xtouch.sys is Windows-specific and cannot possibly work on Unix system. Presumably you meant ‘this device’ instead.

Your first point of contact should be the suppliers of the driver (which might possibly be http://www.eeti.com.tw/drivers_Win.html).

You will notice on that page that there is a caveat on installing that driver on Windows 7 and 8.
