XP and DosDevices

Dear All!

I’d like to manage drive mappings for different users under WinXP. I see
that network mappings are under keys like the following:
…\DosDevices\00000000-0003ce0\V:

So the question is - what those two 64-bit numbers mean? How can I create a
symbolic link to drive say X: for a given logged in user or for the current
user?

The second question. If I understand correctly, all the users logged in
locally are in the same session zero, aren’t they? But why when I change
user new sessions appear under \Sessions directory?

Thanx for any tips about that,
Max Lyadvinsky

P.S. are there any info sources about multiuser management in WinXP?
