Hi all,
Can more than one driver be the data provider for a same WMI class? Or Can we filter/modify WMI requests going to a particular driver?
If yes, I’d like to know how.
Thanks,

Yes, more than one driver can be a provider. No, you really cannot modify the requests going to a particular driver w/any ease. In a pnp stack, you could try to do it but there is a lot of state you need to track and while WMI irps travel through the entire stack, they are targeted at specific devices w/in the stack.
What do you want to accomplish with filtering?
