WMI in filter drivers

NTFSD Folk:

I’m confused about supporting WMI in filter drivers. If the filter driver
handles the WMI IRPs for IRP_MJ_SYSTEM_CONTROL requests, they don’t get
passed down to lower-level drivers, which is probably a Bad Thing.

Should we use the control device object for the filter driver? Something
else?

Thanks,
Ken

Never mind – the GUID should be able to distinguish the requests for the
filter driver.

Sorry for the noise…

Ken
