Hello,
I’m new to WMI. I’ve to implement WMI without using WMILIB. i.e. I’ve to
implement on my own the various things required for IRP processing without
calling WmiSystemControl function. The Walter Oney’s book don’t describe
this case. Also DDK don’t describe it much.
Where can I find some sample code or detailed information for this ?
Can you give me some pointers or guidelines ?
Thanks in advance,
Aparna

Look at DDK section: “1.8.2 Processing WMI IRPs in a DispatchSystemControl
Routine”. Also I think OSR’s Mark Cariddi wrote an article on driver support
for WMI for the NT Insider. Check the OSR website to see if is online.
