Hi guys, we’ve been testing our devices in Windows 10 machines using WLK. Before there are some failing tests and we’ve found at about WLK Playlists that’s supposed to suppress some tests. We downloaded the playlist at:
https://sysdev.microsoft.com/en-US/Hardware/compatibilityplaylists/
Our question is if all the tests in the playlists passed, would it be valid for WLK submission? Or do we need to run all the tests not included in the playlist?

The playlist concept is brand new. I think you’re going to have to ask
xxxxx@microsoft.com – they are quite responsive.
And when you get an answer, you might share it with us…

I experienced the same issue. I got some bsod when doing WLK but after applying the playlist, a lot of tests were filtered. Previously it took a whole day to test everything. But after applying the playlist, the number of tests reduced drastically so that the test can take 5 hours only. The driver was successfully applied for whql. So there is no issue with the playlist. It is valid for submission.
Thanks for the reply Francois and Tim. So it seems like the playlist is valid according to Francois reply. I’ve got another question about HLK but I’m going to create a new thread about it since it’s another topic.
