Hmm, I guess he wanted XP RC2 symbols and not w2k SP2… Me too, we weren’t
able to download them from beta site because passport stopped working (no
response for ages). Any direct link?

Passport is screwed. Go delete any cookies associated with
hotmail/passport/etc. Then try again. Do not accept the suggestion that
internet exploder cache your passport password or it will hang again
soon.

Thanks, I’ll try it. I don’t understand why is this nonsense tested on
driver developers (who else needs beta symbols?)…

I think the theory is that we are used to it, like a slow-boiled frog, so we
hardly notice the pain.

Your cookie advice worked, thanks. Now we’re downloading 520 MB file…
You’re probably right with frog theory but it would work only if there are
no problems with implementation (the goal ms is never able to achieve).
Anyway, I’m a bit paranoid about my personal data and feel a big pain when
being forced to use things as a passport is.
