Windows Driver files compatibility for PCIe

Hi,

I have 2 device drivers running in my PC. These drivers interact with PC through a common PCI card inserted in my system’s PCI slot.

Now my PC is EOL and so I got an alternate with PCIe slots.

Will my drivers be compatible for this new PCIe slots as is?

If not, will any PCI to PCIe adapters help in this case without any changes in the drivers?

You can’t just put a PCI card in a PCI-E slot - you need an adapter :slight_smile:
The drivers shouldn’t have any problems.

Thank you for the reply. I 'll buy an adapter and try in the new PC. Will come back if I find any issues.
