windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device

windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged ,or that might be malicious software from an unkown source (code 52).

when i install my usb driver, it report this error, My driver has already done HLK testing, and also passed Microsoft’s whql signature test.

so i don’t know why ? if i disable the secure mode in bois ,my driver can install ok.

Did you submit the driver for the WHQL signature? Did you change ANYTHING in the package after you got it back? Remember, a signed package include a CAT file that includes a checksum for your INF and every file mentioned in your INF. If you change any file in the package, then the CAT file will not match and the signature is invalid.

If I understand correctly then your driver is properly signed, but is
not loaded on a specific Windows machine.

Which Windows version are you running?

If you try to load your driver on a machine running Windows 7 or Server
2008 then a specific patch needs to be installed so that Windows
recognizes current signatures correctly. See:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/security-updates/SecurityAdvisories/2015/3033929

If you have installed all updates that are available online, then this
patch should also be installed, though.

I don’t know if this is really the reason for your problem, but a couple
of our customers have run into this issue.
