I have windows 2k3(64-bit) running on top of linux(64bit) on a machine(64 bit). I want to debug this win 2k3 from another machine(32 bit) running win XP (32-bit). But as soon as i start the debugger on XP and start 2k3 in debug mode, win 2k3 simply hangs and does nothing. I waited for long hoping the communication will happen but nothing happened
I verified the COM1 connection using Hyperterminal Application on the two windows boxes. It is running perfect. From this i came to the conclusion that the problem is with WinDbg and not the COM1 port. Can anyone think of something useful?
