I’m sure some(gurus) had this problem, so pls give me some insight. Please …
When I hook up Windbg to live system(NT5), and later on try to do kernel debugging for Hang situation, I see sometimes(in this case always) could not break into the
kernel.
Now is it a BUS freeze?. I vaguely know that kernel debugger works between CPU, and OS. And since the
communication is (in this case) with serial com port, is it really a BUS freeze or somethingelse?
If so what are the possible steps to determine what could possibly be the case.
It seems like the system is under CPU stress testing, Perf monitor shows 80 to 100% utilization. Memory consumption was low.
