WHQL testing for filter drivers

Hi,
Is it possible to get a Designed for Windows Logo for drivers that only
attach as filter to devices of drivers that are supplied by other vendors?
A good example can be a driver that attaches as a filter to all printer
devices on the system (any type of printer - HP, Canon etc.).

Thanks,
Shahar.

At present no, this is really a question for
microsoft.public.windowsxp.winlogo, but except for a few special cases such
as Virus Scanners, WHQL requires being tied to a hardware device.

Shahar,

You need to address the Microsoft WHQL team with this question.
They have a pilot Logo program for the HW independent drivers.
The program includes running some HCT tests with “Code Coverage” tool.

Check this link for more information:

You also will find the email that you should write to inside this link.

Thank you Yan, but this program will not accept bus filter drivers (which
is what my driver is).
I’ll try my luck on microsoft.public.windowsxp.winlogo.

Thanks,
Shahar
