Ok, so now when testing the 2nd of two drivers (which are related to each other) this failure and other failures are now occurring. The failures are process related, i.e. unexpected result from verifier /reset…
The driver under test is loaded. I have already removed the client from DTM studio, rebooted and added it back in. Is there any sort of cleanup I need to run before I run the tests on the second driver? I have not created the submission report in DTM Studio for the first driver yet. Does that need to be done?
Thanks in advance.

In reading another post, it seems my error might be in my decision to load the inf file from a share on the server during submission creation. I created a new test submission, this time loading the inf file from the test client and I did not get the previous error message.

After looking at the task details something comes to mind. When I create the submission, at the end I get a dialog that states “No devices using the specified driver could be found in the selected machine pool…”
Is this normal for a software only driver, and thus possible indicates that this task is not needed?

I have run my driver through a WHQL test before, but now on a new test environment this single job is failing? I have read many posts about this particular issue and it seems to be 50/50 as to whether it is even required.
My driver is a software only driver and this submission is Win7/X86/Unclassified/Unclassified Signature. I have tried this on a clean DTM client, and preinstalling the driver with our installer which creates the devnode (since it is software only)
Would anyone be able to provide any pointers on next steps?
Thanks in advance.
