Where is XP pro SP2 checked

Hi - I’m trying to install XP Pro (x86 32 bit) checked. In my MSDN I can only find a checked version dated 2001 of the non SP2 release. Now how do I update that to SP2 checked? The index seems no help and I’m assuming that a standard SP2 update will replace many components with unchecked ones (?)

BTW This does not seem a strange thing to want to install, i.e. a checked version of XPSP2. Or is there some reason why MS seem to make this (yet another) uphill struggle?

Thx, Mike

Don, the link above leads to a Download Center page with the following message:

“The download you requested is unavailable. If you continue to see this message when trying to access this download, go to the “Search for a Download” area on the Download Center home page.”

-Kevin

You probably copy and pasted only the first part of the URL. Make sure you append the “7b31657c869c&DisplayLang=en” to it.

This is what I didn’t do, but when I did, the proper page is found.

Hi Don, Thanks for the link. I’m beginning to wonder why I subscribe to
MSDN. Everything I really need seems to be freely available online and not
even in the disk set! Mike
