Can anyone tell me where the Table of Contents of the tracks on an Audio
CD are kept and if so where a specification that details this
information can be found?
Thanks,
Mark

>where the Table of Contents of the tracks
The TOC is in a Q-subchannel.

Read SCSI Multimedia Commands spec (there are MMC-2 and MMC-3 drafts
available). Check the best SCSI3 site I’ve met:
http://www.t10.org/scsi-3.htm

I’ve done a lot of work with CD-R stuff and I’d like to help.
What do you want, though? Do you just want to know where all of the audio
tracks start or do you want to read the CD-TEXT info?
If all you want is to read the track locatations, session addresses, CD-TEXT,
etc, the SCSI command to look at is Opcode 43 hex. If you need more information
on the formatting of the command, you can look at www.t10.org or just email
me directly and I’ll send you the info… I’ve got it around here somewhere…
