Hello,
I am using IFS Kit for XP SP1 now. I found some different behavior related
to my filter driver on Windows XP and Windows 2003. I am not sure the
difference is caused by the user mode application or the filter driver. I am
wandering whether it is necessary to upgrade to the new version of IFS kit.
Any opinion is welcome.

Yes it is advisable to use the latest kit, but in this case you may
want to wait. Windows 2003 SP1 should be comming out soon, and with it will
be a new IFS kit that includes the mini-filter support which is a signficant
improvement. You might see if you can still register for the beta, at:
