Hello everybody,
I am required to build an application for Win98 that will make an exact bit
by bit copy of the source media (CD-ROM, floppy, hard disk, removable
media) and store the image to a destination media. The image can can be
assessible through a explorer like interface.
Will I be able to manage this task entirely through a Win32 application or
do I need to build a WDM driver(for easy migration to 2000).
If I do have to build a WDM driver, what kind of a development kit would be
necessary for the task. Any books/documentation on this subject? I have
heard about NT IFS kit. Is there something similar for Win98 and will that
be sufficient for the task. Any sample codes/free codes on the topic.
