The possibility to get CHM documentation from Microsoft for the WDK has been discussed occasionally here - and it is sem-officially available now from what I’ve seen.
I came across the following information today:

Basically it points to a tool (http://www.codeplex.com/packagethis) that will slurp in the current contents of the online MSDN library and let you save the results of this in a CHM file locally. I tried it on the WDF node within the WDK docs and it worked pretty well. The formatting is a little screwy, but it works (in particular the links work correctly.)
This may be helpful to some if MS stops providing the CHM for the WDK docs in the future.
