WDK 6000 redistributables

Hi,

I am developing an application that cleans up drivers and related files
from Vista, to do this, I am using the DifxApi.dll in order to Delete
driver packages ( DriverPackageUninstall()). BUt I might have to ship
the DifxApi.dll along with my application in order for it to work.
Please let me know if DifxAPI.dll can be redistributed since i’m not
able to find info anywhere, any info would be of great help.

The DifxAPI.dll file can be redistributed, it’s in fact stored in C:\WINDDK\6000\redist\DIFx\DIFxAPI\x86 (the “redist” part is the key factor).

Specific licensing details on what can be redistributed (or not) can be found in the WDK license, which is stored in e:\common\license.rtf in the WDK installation DVD (I have no idea why this file is not installed on the machine).
