Hi all,
I am new to development of drivers for a USB scanner. With some
knowledge that I have,I understand that the USB does not have a class
specification for USB scanners. However I observe that Microsoft Windows
supports a class driver for the USB Scanner i.e. it has a usbscan.sys file.I
need to understand the role played by the usbscan.sys in the Windows
Scanning Architecture.A document which explains the functionality of the
usbscan.sys would be useful.
Thanking all in anticipation.
Regards
Sachin
Try searching the DDK for “usbscan”. Also, look in the DDK help
“Contents/Still Image Devices/Still Image Interfaces/USB Still Image I/O
Control Codes”
