usb port How to simulate a serial port

Dear everyone,

Our card (use rs232)add a usb interface ,I need add so much codes for host to accessing our card. now i want to write a driver for simulate a serial port,So my host applicate do not need update so much! How can i do? Can anyone provide any ideas for me?
