upperfilter how to?

Hi,

I understand to filter a disk I can write a disk filter driver and make it
an upper filter by adding it as “UpperFilters” to the registry :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

However, I was wondering is it possible to filter the disk without adding it
to the registry as UpperFilters?
what other ways or methods I can filter the disk or any other class of
devices?

Thank You!

cheers,
vincent

Find it on the web with MSN Search. http://search.msn.com.sg/

This is the best way. This will also auto-install your filter for all newly
inserted USB flashes.
