How do I tell if win 2k has upgraded all my ntfs partitions to the new spec
and if so how do I revert back to the nt 4 compatable version.

The install also updates your nt4 installations with the ntfs drivers, so
they’ll boot.

The quick way to tell is this: If the partitions were visible when W2K
booted on the machine, the partitions were (up?)graded to the new NTFS. NT4
SP6 should be able to boot from the new NTFS, so I would be surprised if
that were really the problem. As far as going back, the only way is to back
up, reformat and restore.
