We have a UMDF driver (XP, Vista with wdf v 1.7), that we are trying to upgrade to use v 1.9, but the installation on vista requires at least one reboot, sometimes it requires two (one for wdf and the other for the driver itself).
From the posts I see here at least one reboot is normal, but for us the reboot is really breaking the whole installation experience.
So is there really strong reason to upgrade to v 1.9, from the release notes I don’t see anything that should affect our driver.
