Testing File system Filter drivers

Hi All,

What is the best way to test File system Filter drivers?
Are there any tools or utilities to help in finding any memory leaks or
failures?

Any information is helpful.

Thanks,
Kedar.

Try the Driver Verifier. You won’t believe how much
blue screens you will see under its control :-)).

L.

Use iostress and ifstest tests that are part of HCT package. Those are
most comprehensive and rigorous tests that I know. And, of course,
always have Verifier enabled for your driver with all but “DMA” and “low
resources” options set.
