I am migrating from a non-ACPI machine to a ACPI machine. The only problem
I have is the transfer disk image still uses the standard HAL/kernel and not
the ACPI HAL/kernel on the new machine. Is there anyway to modify the OS
from using the standard HAL/kernel to using the ACPI HAL/kernel on the new
machine? Is there a setting in the sysprep.inf file to make this change?
Or is this just the way it is?
