Symantec does timestamping ?

When I actually timestamp a file using signtool.exe … /t http://timestamp.verisign.com/scripts/timestamp.dll , it is signed
with

Issued to : “Symantec Time Stamping Services Signer - G3”
Issued by : “VeriSign Time Stamping Services CA”

A month ago , it still was :

Issued to : “VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2”
Issued by : “VeriSign Time Stamping Services CA”

Does anyone knows about this , and about consequences ?

Regards ,

Christiaan

Symantec now owns Verisign; the time server is their too.
