Supporting WinXP SP3 OS Version

Hi,

I have developed a mini-filter driver which works properly on WinXP SP2 Version.

Will it work on Windows XP SP3 ? Does anyone have any idea ?

In WinXP SP3, a new module “Microsoft Kernel Mode Cryptographic Module (Fips.sys)” is introduced.
But this file(Fips.sys) is also present in WinXP SP2 version.

Any inputs are appreciated.

This may sound a bit harsh, but in the time taken for you to get a
response to this you could have already pulled down SP3 from the
Microsoft downloads site.

The only certainty you will have regarding your specific driver and
SP3 is to upgrade/install to SP3 and test it.
