Hi,
I have a strange behaviour for my file filter driver.
Using IFSKit sfilter, I added RtlVolumeDeviceToDosName in MountCompletion
routine.
I was able to get the drive letter if I tried it on Win XP.
However when I tried it on Win 2K Pro SP 3, I get to get the drive letter.
And I notice that the FsNotification fail to capture the event when the NTFS
is mounted on my hard drive.
Therefore sfilter did not attach to the NTFS.
Why is that so?
Win 2k and Win XP behave differently?
I have verified that my C drive is formated with NTFS for both WIn XP and
Win 2k pro
Hope someone can help.
I am using VMWare 4.0.
