I believe what she means is adding a browse button to the dialogs which
would allow you to select the path names using a “Browse for Folder”
dialog (i.e. SHBrowseForFolder() API) instead of typing in the path
names.
This does make the dialog more user friendly.
Best regards,
Bruce

I still don’t understand what it is you are not liking about entering the
source path. You don’t need to enter it as an environment variable, nor do
you need to enter it at the command line. WinDBG 3.0.7.0 has the same
Symbol, Source, and Image path dialogs that all of the WinDBG 2.0 versions
had. Symbol path is File->Symbol File Path… Ctrl+S. Source path is
File->Source File Path… Ctrl+P.
What is hard about that? Are you saying that you can’t pull down the menu,
select the menu item, and put the path into the resulting dialog box?
