Hi,
I recently received email like this:
Symantec Email Proxy deleted the following email message:
From: xxxxx@lists.osr.com
To: xxxxx@hotpop.com
That was it. It doesn’t tell me why deleting my email, even worse w/o my
seeing it. AV product is supposed to make my system secure but so far I
haven’t seen a virus as bad as that would delete my email w/o having a
chance to look at it first. What a big idea.
My NAV is always sync with the latest LiveUpdate. Is any list member with
NAV experiencing the similar issue?

Not anymore. I purged NAV 8 months ago from ALL of my systems and ALL of
those problems went away.

The most likely explanation is that was NOT really a message from the
mailing list, but was a faked virus or piece of spam. Real messages from
the list have a real name, not just an e-mail address.
On the other hand, my SpamAssassin marks about 3 [ntdev] messages per
day as spam. I thought I had a whitelist entry for one of the X- headers,
but it doesn't seem to be working...
