Hello Every one,

I am facing a very strange problem,i am trying to use Developer Studio 2.6
on a windows 2000 system.When i do a ctrl+d on the system i dont see the
softice window rather i just see a black window.and another ctrl + d brings
back to the orignal desktop.

This is wierd because i just cant understand what has happened,i read abt in
on google and even tried with diffeerent display settings but i am still not
able to figure out the problem.Everything was working fine till now.

details are as follows:

Driver studio 2.6
Windows 2000:Display Mode 800x600(32 bits)

Please if any one knows what is happening ,help me with this.

  1. Which Graphics Card are you using? Check whether it is
    supported by SoftIce!
  2. Try using “Universal Video Driver” from SoftIce Settings.

The graphic card is SiS and the Universal Video Driver is what i am using in
the settings but it still is black when i do ctrl+d
