Alberto:

I have been using Driver Studio 2.1 on XP with some success. I only install
Soft-ICE. It is pretty much all you need anyway. Why would one need your
2.5?

You have to get the (I think its beta) update from numega. You should
try the vendor, http://www.numega.com rather than this list, for
commercial product support.

Hi,
I am facing a problem on Win XP with softice debugger
installed. I am able to debug the basic dll in a windows 2K
softice setup but I am not able to debug the same in the XP.
The “dll” is a user mode dll. Though the dll can be debugged
using the IDE but I want to try this on softice for specific reasons.
To put the question in another way; I did not get a hit
on the break point, thought that part of the code is executed.
I cross verified the configuration of both the system,
but I did not see any dissimilarity.
