Hi all,
I have a pair of drivers, a bus driver and a functional driver based heavily
on the toaster sample code. The bus driver creates devices as needed and
destroys them as needed. The problem I am having is that when the bus driver
creates new devices, the Install New Device wizard dialog pops up. All I
have to do is click on automatic installation, and it goes away and does the
right thing. This happens even when I am installing a second, third, or
fourth instance of an identical device on the bus.
Can anyone supply any pointers to examples or information about how I might
get XP to not display the user prompts and just install the driver?
I would appreciate any pointers.
