sfilter.c from Windows 2000 IFS Kits

Anybody has the Windows 2000 IFS Kits?

I find something strange.

If I install all the components including the DDK from the IFS Kits, I got
the sample sfilter.c of size 93.9 KB (96,168 bytes) modified on Tuesday,
September 08, 1998, 3:21:10 PM

But if I install only the IFS components without the DDK from the IFS
Kits, I got the sample sfilter.c of size 88.4 KB (90,566 bytes) modified
on Thursday, July 20, 2000, 7:58:32 PM

Anybody knows why?

Eric,

This seems too obvious, but surely if you compare the files there will
be 5kb of extra source in one of them which might give you a clue. It
may even have a comment explaining the difference.

Andy

Comments in sample code - surely you jest…

I guess sfilter was optimised, or had comments removed

David.
