Hi all,
Small problem, After installing Acronis PartitionExpert, personal edition
build 278, I resized two drives e: and f:
On rebooting the resize occurred.
PC rebooted and promptly started installing a number of programs/ code which
were not digitally signed.
Unfortunately I hit no to one of the message boxes which would install the
new programs.
As a result partition f: was made hidden / not visible to w2k.
Partitonexpert can see the partition, and correctly reports it’s size and
used / free space.
Partionexperts report generating tool reports the following for the drive.
Speed IFace Hs-Bs-Tg Model

How can I make partiton 7 label Terminal Se visible to w2k sp4
I think I need to change the ABCHSV marker from
------E to
–C–V
How do I do this and what tool should I use ?
w2k diskmanger reports the partition is not enabled, when I try and reasign
the drive letter f: back to this partition.
Thanks in advance

Further investigations since my last email have shown proved that using
windows explorer under nt4 sp6 we can access the partition which is not
visible in w2k.
Hence my question is now what could be preventing access to this partition.
Two choices I think we have which could cause this error are
1: Incorrect data in the w2k registry
2: Acronis partitionexpert 2003 personal edition build 278 is
preventing access
How can we fix this problem ?
thanks in advance

Hi all,
I managed to renable access to the missing partition, by clicking on the
unknown partition in w2k device manager and getting it to update the driver
associated with it.
Once we had the genetic volume driver associated with the partition, it was
possible to access at.
Thanks to all who responded to my question.

Maybe? Why do you think that non-MS software is bug free? Report a bug to
Acronis.
