NTFSD Folk:
There appears to be no way to connect to a Control Device Object from a
remote system, is there?
Locally, you can get to it by opening “\.\MyDriver”, but I haven’t figured
out a way to access it remotely.
The alternative is a Windows service, I guess, but I was hoping to avoid
that.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Ken
You need your own remoting architecture, usually a service.
