Relation between scsi address and device location?

Hi all,

A quick question. Can anyone confirm the relation between scsi address and
device location? The device location has only Bus Number, Target and LUN,
while scsi address is ACSL. So, how the system resolve this ?

Thanks!

Location information is only for documentation. The system makes no
decisions based on the info in the location property. The system makes
its decisions off of instance IDs, which are computed from the IDs of
each devnode between the root bus and the device itself (unless one of
those has a globally unique ID).

Use the location of the adapter + the location of the disk. Of course
the location of the adapter is dependent on the location of the PCI bus

What is ACSL?
