Relating IP address and machine name in a FSD filtering LanmanRedirector

Hello all:

I have develop a FSD in order to filter LanmanRedirector and I have to
detect the access to a given machine (which will be identified either by
name or IP address) Which is the best way to obtain the IP address from name
(or vice versa) from driver without dealing with asking DNS?
