As usual, there is a proverb on point: If a man knows the day and the hour
that thieves will strike, will they not find him awake with his sword ready
to defend his house? I paraphrase the quotation as I don’t have the source
in hand and last read it a few years ago, but the point is quite simple: it
is easy to design defend against the threats that one perceives, but hard or
impossible to perceive all threats. But wisdom and judgment help us to
realize which are important to defend against, and which we must simply
trust.

Figuratively speaking, your entire argument boils down to saying " it is
practically impossible to develop 100% reliable burglary-prevention system
anyway" and presenting examples of successful bank robberies when someone
points out that an intruder may easily get into your house because there is
no lock on your front door…
