RE: SPAM-LOW: RE: Two sessions at once on the same server?

Buy a second motherboard, processor, RAM, hard drive, and case, and finish
the job.

Win32 != X.

Not really w/out a lot of special software. The system coalesces all
hardware input into one virtual device. You could try to rig an app that
feeds input into a TS session on one monitor to simulate a 2nd session.

Suppose I had two monitors, two mice, and two keyboards on the same PC, and
I’m running Server.

Does anyone know if there would be a way to treat each of those groups as a
separate logon session?

Well, yea. That is actually the current state right now. But since these
systems are a networked video server there could potentially have been some
advantages in deleting the network part.

I really didn’t think it was a very likely scenario without a lot more work
than I’d be even slightly interested in doing, but I got asked to ask…

If you need high-density commodity servers, then check out the flourishing
market in so-called “blade” servers. They’re better than a closet full of
beige boxes, although they do come with a price tag.
