RE: Sofice + Enable Softice Network support = USB ISO - pipe problems

Lots of things may be happening.

Off my head, if you say to use SoftICE networking, and we cannot find the
adapter or tcp/ip for whatever reason, we will continuouslly poll looking
for, essentially, icmp information. This polling takes place every few
seconds. If you type “net stop”, does the problem go away ?

Subject: [ntdev] Sofice + Enable Softice Network support = USB ISO pipe
problems

Hi,

after some days, new bios versions, new motherboards, some
new Windows 2000 and Windows XP installations I can say

DON’T use Softice + Enable Softice Network Support when
using USB ISO pipes.

Every 2 seconds is a burst in the system CPU monitor. (6-7 % kernel time)
and the USBD IRP completion is not in normal time frame.
Some URB’s completed with BAD_START_FRAME or ISCOH_REQUEST_FAILED.

Any suggestions from NUMEGA ???
