RE: Problems with Multiple Symbolic Links in one driv er (XP)

Terminal services and global versus local namespace is the change which
causes most problems. WinObj tool
(http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/winobj.shtml) allows to examine
if they are created at expected place.

No limit that I’m aware of. Can you provide a bit more detail, say,
exactly what system calls you’re making, and what results you expect?

Symbolic links haven’t changed in a long, long time. Can’t imagine
they’ve changed much between NT and XP.

I’ve been trying to set up two different symbolic links to two different
objects in the same (XP) driver. I am only able to access the second
one created via IOCTL. Is there some limit in XP that prevents multiple
symbolic links? This used to work in NT.
