Check Walter Oney’s book. He has a section on co-installers, as does the
DDK. Pay attention to the Toaster examples.

You really don’t have to wait for anyone to send it to you. The Toaster
example in the DDK has a co-installer, and Walter Oney talks about them and
I believe has another example of one. They were adequate enough for this
moldy old brain to write one.
