RE: Kernel debugging without /debug

I remember there is a tool named VistaKD which hooked ZwDeviceIoControlFile
to enable the lkd when /debug option is not set. But this tool only works
with 32 bit OS. I tried in Win7 32 and works.

Subject: [windbg] Kernel debugging without /debug

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to do kernel debugging without
having turned on the /debug flag at boot time. I use windbg,

(Both host and targets are Windows 7. The target machine is already up and
I can’t practically reboot the target machine. )

Thanks

Terry
