I’m able to do this without any problems.
I’m using the SP2-symbols as provided on the MSDN DVD.

Subject: [ntdev] Is the WinDbg symbols server broken for setting
scsiport!scsidebug
I’m debugging a SCSI miniport on checked W2K SP2 and find the command “ed
scsiport!scsidebug 3” to turn on debug messages can’t resolve the symbol.
I’m using the latest WinDbg with the remote symbol server. Any ideas? Are
the symbol server symbols stripped of variables? If I disassemble and edit
the address tested by ScsiDebugPrint, I get debug messages, so believe
everything except the symbol value must work.
