I’m doing this live. I haven’t tried it with a crash dump yet. Should it
be working as MaryBeth describes?

Yes, it should. I wonder if there is something special about your target
machine causing this which the debugger isn’t properly handling. If its
really easy for you to repro, it would be interesting to see if it also
repro’s on a minidump file (.dump /m). If it does, looking at the is the
best way for us to fix the problem before the next release.
