RE: how to copy/paste a block of memory dump from softice- to windows

Use nmsym /log:file.txt. It saves whole SI history buffer to file.txt and
you can copy and paste necessary parts using any editor. Note it is also
possible using a utility with GUI if you use it. If you need to print memory
to history buffer, close all data windows and use D[B|W|D] command.

Subject: [ntdev] how to copy/paste a block of memory dump from
softice to windows

Hi,
I need to copy/paste a block of memory dump from soft ice dos like screens

and save it to some file in say notepad, to send it to HW company. It is a

DMA memory dump, but till now I have not been able to paste it anywhere
outside softice, even not been able to copy more than one line.

Is it possible at all? any other way?

Even if I use DbgPrint and then use driver monitor, it does not capture
even half of the lines.

thanks in advance.
Raj
