or is the AllocationSize member used to define the size of a directory
entry, whether it be a directory or file?

Subject: [ntfsd] Help on AllocationSize member in
FILE_DIRECTORY_INFOMATION…
Could someone clarify what the AllocationSize member is actually used for…
it says in the document that the “Allocation Size, File allocation, in
bytes. Usually, this value is a multiple of the sector or cluster size of
the underlying physical device”
What does this mean exactly? is this the overall size of all the files in
the directory in question?
