There is 1 thing I wanted to clarify. We developed the driver on NT with
the help of NT DDK. This driver was tested on NT and the same driver we
are using on 2000. Is it must to use 2000 DDK for building the driver to
use on Windows 2000 ?
The driver which was developed using Nt DDK runs
fine on 2000 but the m/c restarts only when stress testing is done.
This driver monitors a folder which is specified in the registry. If any
operation such as copying or deleting a file from this folder, the driver
generates a log of all operations. When the opeartions are performed
automatically with the help of JScript then the m/c restarts on 2000.
